Workshops

I speak to parents and students on a variety of topics related to parenting, student mental health, and preparing for the transition to college and independent living. I welcome the opportunity to tailor my presentations to fit the needs of a specific audience.

Examples include but are not limited to:

• Parent unsure of what kind of assistance their child might need
• Ideas about how to help a friend or family member seek out services
• How to best help your child transition into and out of college
• How to connect with local and university resources
• How to manage expectations, boundaries, and rules when your college child or adult child returns home for a school break, summer, or permanently
• Mental health professionals looking for professional consultation

I learned a lot from the group. Thank you so much. There are so many different topics to discuss and it is so helpful to get other perspectives. Thank you!

I loved the personal connection and space to talk about parenting issues. Thank you!

KIND WORDS FROM PAST CLIENTS

I liked the small group gatherings and felt all were open to share more openly in that type of setting. Thank you for tapping into a need we all have!

If you are struggling with these or any other concerns, please contact me to schedule an initial appointment. During this meeting, you will discuss what concerns bring you to therapy. This meeting will help clarify and identify your treatment options.
